Crystal Castles: Experimental electronic band.  Known for thumping, danceable, mind-melting beats.

Robert Smith: Pentagenarian front-man for The Cure.  Known for dark, post-punk, mildly depressing songs written in the 80s.

Up until a few weeks ago, I don’t think I could have told you what a combination of these two would sound like.  Luckily for us, “Not In Love” by Crystal Castles features Robert Smith, and the result is more like “Peanut Butter and Chocolate” than “Peanuts and Gum”.  Take a listen and let the dark beats envelope you.  Brilliant.
